Frequenty Asked Questions

Your questions answered.

Do I need a pilot licence?

No — the course is for companions and frequent passengers who want practical safety skills, not licence issue.

Which aircraft?

Training is typically on our Cessna 152, Grob 115B or Piper PA-38. The quoted package is based on the C152; other types are priced at the applicable hire rate.

Will I be able to land the aircraft?

You will practice assisted landing and recovery techniques to a standard we set with your instructor — this is safety training, not a substitute for a PPL.

Can the course be split over time?

Yes — many companions schedule sorties over weeks or months around your usual flying.

Is there a certificate?

Yes — a course completion certificate when you finish the agreed syllabus.
