Frequenty Asked Questions

Your questions answered.

Which package do I need?

If you already hold an IR(A), choose the IR-held package. If not, the no-IR package includes a 10-hour basic IR block on the Arrow III before CPL test preparation.

What are the hour requirements?

Minimum 25 hours dual for modular CPL, including at least 15 hours VFR dual and instrument time as required if you do not already hold an IR.

Which aircraft?

Complex training on C177RG; touring and IR/CPL consolidation on PA-28 Arrow III.

Are ATPL exams included?

No — you must pass ATPL theoretical exams before the CPL skill test. Ground school hours in the package support the flying course, not ATPL tuition.

Is accommodation included?

No — we can suggest local options; Cambridge and London are within easy reach of Fowlmere.

How do I book?

Email bookings@britishaerobaticacademy.com or call +44 (0)1763 208 281 with your hours and IR status.
